About the event
On April 13, 2025, the International Asian Culture Society (IACS) partnered with the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Beijing Community to convene the Future Shapers Forum at Schwarzman College, Tsinghua University. The event carried the theme “Wisdom and Innovation · Youth Leadership” and emphasized the growing importance of global youth leadership in driving innovation, strengthening cross-cultural ties, and shaping sustainable international cooperation.
The forum highlighted how young leaders are not only political and business actors but also cultural connectors and innovators across society, technology, and the arts. Through transnational collaboration and dialogue, participants explored strategies to tackle complex global challenges and contribute to a more peaceful, prosperous, and sustainable future.
The program featured keynote addresses by Liang Chen (Chairman of the World Economic Forum Greater China) and Qingzhong Pan (Executive Dean, Schwarzman College, Tsinghua University), followed by interactive Q&A with Bing Liang (Director of Admissions, Schwarzman College).
