About the event
From February 11–16, 2025, the 2025 Charity Study Camp in Shanghai concluded with an unforgettable celebration of art, music, and healing. The program, supported by the International Asian Culture Society (IACS), highlighted how the arts can serve as a form of music therapy and emotional empowerment for children from rural Yunnan.
At the graduation ceremony, music and performance became a bridge of resilience and hope. Paolo Sun (violinist, IACS) performed “Melody Like a Song,” bringing warmth and introspection, while Peng Guan (cellist and Founder of IACS) offered “The Swan,” enveloping the hall in lyrical calm. Volunteer dancers and singers joined with children to create a collective artistic moment where music, movement, and cultural identity merged.
