About the event
Held from 1–4 September 2025, the Scotland Forum 2025 convened political leaders, diplomats, scholars, and business representatives to strengthen Scotland’s international engagement. The program featured keynote lectures, panel discussions, and cultural events aimed at building stronger academic, economic, and civic ties between Scotland, Europe, and global partners.
Representing the International Asian Culture Society, Peng Guan (Founder, IACS) delivered the keynote speech “The Power of Arts and Culture in Advancing Citizen Diplomacy”. The address emphasized IACS’s commitment to cultural diplomacy as a means of bridging divides, empowering communities, and generating innovative approaches to sustainable collaboration across nations.
The Forum included high-level contributions from former heads of state, parliamentarians, ministers, and leading experts from Europe, Asia, and beyond.
